Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Must demonstrate ability to learn how to use and apply applicable technologies for effective performance of the essential functions of this job description
  • Possesses a proficient understanding of project management principles and methodologies
  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages small to medium projects of average complexity
  • Develops and maintains project plans with milestones, timelines and deliverables with minimal oversight
  • Participate in project definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs
  • Gathers and reports project status to internal customers and first line business owners
  • Identifies interdependencies in projects
  • Offers some suggestions to improve processes
  • Applies standards and procedures to accomplish tasks
  • Learns how to use and apply appropriate tools as needed for this role
  • Thoroughly documents work in an organized manner
  • Works collaboratively and professionally in a team environment with other associates to achieve goals, including the coordination of resources assigned to projects for which he/she is responsible without direct authority
  • Attends and actively participates in department and facility meetings and classes.
  • Actively participates in and encourages others to utilize creative and innovative approaches to accomplish tasks.
  • Demonstrates commitment to quality through knowledge of its precepts, skillful workplace applications and continuous organizational improvement.
